a moment of clarity in mommyland

well. kenya exploded into violence.  no one expected this–the country has been the most stable in the continent for over a decade.

because it still hasn’t settled, my trip to kenya next week has been postponed.   i don’t really know if it’s been canceled or if it will be rescheduled.

to say i am disappointed would be an understatement. on the other hand, for my loved ones, they can breathe a sigh of relief.
